Norway First

Wow, I just scheduled my first presentation in Vennesia, Norway. I'll be presenting on an as-yet-to-be-decided topic on October 17.

I managed to find a picture of the train station in Vennesia. It looks quite picturesque, doesn't it?

Lori :

A scheduled presentation?! I'm sure you'll have the perfect title/topic in place soon. I'm anxious to hear how your presentations are developing. I'm trying to picture you standing at the train depot---should I be picturing you in the snow with winter gear? Seems like a welcome relief after the anticipation of our miserably hot weekend ahead!

Sue Musheno:

I'm a friend of Lori's from Columbus, her friend of Norwegian heritage. My mother came from Norway when she was seven.

I will look forward to your account of experiences in Norway! My husband would love for us to visit but I'm a bit like Dorothy, "there's no place like home" and it seems so very far to travel. Will you stay in one place and travel and present all over the country? Mange tak for letting me travel along with you on your blog!

Kathee:

Sue,

I'm so glad you will be reading my blog. I'll arrive in Norway in mid-August and will be, I'm sure, blogging a lot about my experiences there. Be sure to read my food blog as well--I've decided that I'll try everything I'm served, no matter how strange it seems to my American palette.

Did your mother have any memory of Norway?

Diane:

NORWAY!! HERE YOU COME! We can't wait to read about all the great things you get to see and do on your adventure!
