Before I left town, I took a picture of one of my fruit trees in bloom. It was just so amazingly beautiful that I wanted to be able to remember it. When I returned to California, the blossoms were gone. Instead, I found a backyard full of weeds . . . and my incredible wisteria in bloom. I love spring, even if it means I have to weed.
